The Aspinall Foundation - Madagascar
The Aspinall Foundation is an internationally renowned animal conservation charity that works in conjunction with Howletts and Port Lympne Wild Animal Parks in Kent.
Our mission is to halt the extinction of rare and endangered species in the wild.
Our commitment is to conservation, through captive breeding, education and reintroduction. We are working in some of the world’s most fragile environments to save endangered animals and return them to the wild.
We believe that the reintroduction of animals into their natural habitats can help conserve wildlife and their habitat.
Over the past few years alone, we have released Back to The Wild a range of animals including 8 black rhino, 49 Javan langurs, 9 Javan gibbon, 11 European bison and over 60 western lowland gorillas back to their natural habitat.
Our education work, whether with local schools in the UK or with communities near our overseas project focuses on how the importance of protecting endangered species and the steps we can take to help.
With your support, we can go on protecting some of the world’s most endangered species and returning them to where they belong – Back to the wild!
